My on-the-job training

 

 I was at Lindex in a shopping center Jumbo at job-on-the-training last spring for about 3 months from December to the end of February.

My tasks were customer service in Finnish but also in English at times, putting the products in size order from smallest ones to the biggest ones, one of my jobs was to check the sales from the previous day and replace the sold products with new ones, I put clothes on coat hangers and I also alarmed the products.

The tasks weren’t really that difficult except the customer service at times I really enjoyed working at Lindex and I learned so many new things. The customer service was a little bit difficult at times because if they asked something difficult I didn’t know how to explain that for the others salers to ask for advice.

The best thing about working at Lindex was when I helped customers and they really seemed happy when they got the help they needed and also when I did something well my co-worker complimented me.

The worst thing about the job-on-the-training was when my co-worker was rude to me many times even though we spoke to her about it and she just denied it and I felt like she was secretly laughing at me. Also she didn’t even apologize to me.

I learned a lot about customer service, how to use the cashier, how to alarm the products right and how to put the price tags on products. And many more jobs at the store.
